How We Help *
Safe 2 Speak is here to help youth find their voice, understand their options, and connect with support. We welcome all youth and provide intentional encouragement for boys and young men who may feel pressure to stay silent.
You do not have to share everything at once. You are in control of your story, and you deserve to be treated with respect, believed, and supported.
Education & Prevention
We provide age-appropriate presentations, conversations, and resources that help youth understand body safety, boundaries, consent, warning signs, and how to reach out to a safe adult.
Courage to Speak
We create supportive spaces that remind young people they are not alone and that abuse is never their fault. Our message is simple: being strong does not mean staying silent—asking for help is strength.
Resource Connection
We help connect youth, families, schools, and trusted adults with appropriate trauma-informed resources, including advocacy organizations, counseling providers, crisis support, reporting information, and other local services.
Youth Advocacy
We raise awareness about the barriers that can keep young people silent, especially the stigma boys and young men may experience. Safe 2 Speak works to replace shame and isolation with understanding, support, and hope.
Community Presentations
We offer educational speaking engagements for schools, youth programs, community groups, and caregivers. Presentations are designed to promote safety, encourage healthy conversations, and help adults respond appropriately when a young person asks for help.
A Note for Boys
Boys can be harmed. Boys can speak up. Boys deserve support.
Many boys and young men worry they will not be believed, will be judged, or will be expected to “handle it” on their own. At Safe 2 Speak, there is no shame in asking for help. You are not weak, and what happened to you is not your fault. Research and survivor-support organizations recognize that male survivors can face particular stigma and barriers to telling someone.
